B.Sc (Professional Audio Technology)

Course Overview:

B.Sc. in Professional Audio Technology is typically a degree program that focuses on the technical and creative aspects of audio production, recording, and engineering. This course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills required to work in the audio industry, such as music production, sound design, post-production for film and television, live sound engineering, and more.

Objectives:

  • Understand nature & behavior of sound in the acoustic and digital domain.
  • Gain in-depth understanding of the Physics of Sound and Recording Studio Operations 
  • Gain in-depth understanding of the recording signal flow 
  • Gain in-depth understanding of Pro Tools | Ultimatesystems including Avid Certifications 
  • Gain ability to work with immersive audio like Dolby® ATMOS 
  • Gain understanding of maintenance and troubleshooting of Pro Tools Systems
